OPEN | 1010 | hope this works...

It had been a long day for the creatures that were active during the day and were now ready to sleep as the sun slowly set behind the horizon. The further it sank down, the less active creatures became as they prepared for sleep, collecting any young ones and making sure families were all together. However, while most of the prey animals prepared for rest, the nocternal creatures and some hunters slowly stirred into wakefulness. One hunter in particular was grateful for the return of the night when hunting gave advantage to the hunters. Slowly, the beautiful creature sat up after a lazy day lying in the sun finding it relatively too hot for her despite cooling off in the water. By now, she was completely dry as she groomed herself, licking her front paws and preparing for a night of hunting. She was real beautiful creature if there was any humans that dared to witness a brilliant hunter with it's beautiful white coat and black stripes down the length of it's body. What was even more startling with the sapphire blue tint of her eyes when she looked at you. She was a tiger as humans would have called her as she slowly stretched like all cats did, content to scan her vantage point for prey. It was still light out so she gathered her thoughts, flicking her beautiful tail lazily as she climbed to her feet letting out a small growl. It was gentle growl, rather harmless considering she wasn't quite ready to go off hunting wanting some time to wake up.

Her stomach growled after a bit signalling to beautiful regal looking feline that she had put off hunting long enough and went in search of something to eat. She was so very quiet the whole time as she continued down from her vantage point in search of any large animals that seemed to lurk in this particular spot. It wasn't quite the same hunting in this new area, but it was relatively nice and certainly fed her well. Her senses were on high alert as she picked her way through the tundra, ears flicking back and forth for the slightest sound and eyes scanning the surrounding area. Course, the problem with being a hunter was that there was always the potential to be hunted herself. Yet, she was a big cat and so very few things were likely to mess with giving her strength and size, but that didn't stop her from being prepared. If anything the death of her family had served to make her a better hunter always prepared for just about anything. Thankfully night was on it's way considering her white and black coat would sometimes give away her position, but as it was fate was on her side. Even with the aid of nocturnal vision, there was a faint glow of moonlight streaming down to give some feeling of hope to the creatures of prey. Silently, the beautiful assassin made her way through the land barely making a sound as she padded along. She'd occasionally spook a bunny, but she chose to leave it alone figuring that she'd soon find something more appetizing.

Not long after she smell the scent of larger prey not far from where she was, flicking her tail proudly and slowly picking her pace up to a gentle trot. She knew she had to conserve her energy since she wasn't known for long distance runs, but that was fine by her considering that she still did incredibly well. Swishing her tail, she could feel the scent getting stronger as she drew closer to her target, her heart pumping excitedly. She came to a stop though when she drew close enough and hunched down making sure she was downwind of the herd of elk. She licked her lips in anticipation, letting her claws shift under the soil as she surveilled it picking out her victim, a small purr escaping her throat at seeing some young fawns playing. While most believed it right to hunt the young, the beautiful cat thought better of it, recalling how her own sister was treated. Besides, the children were there to make it so that they're was still an abundance of prey for creatures like her. Suddenly, she spotted her target farther back away from the herd, noting the way it limped as it walked. Now here was something that was at the end of it's life as she watched it aware that it was still just as dangerous as any of the fresher elf. At least it was relatively well fed, but even still she'd enjoy something in her stomach rather than nothing. Crouching down, she slowly made her way through the dense grass, careful to avoid anything that might tip the scales.

Satisfied with her position, she quietly gathered her thoughts knowing she'd need all her wits about her if she was going to bring something as big down. Sure, she had the advantage of having poison cousin through her veins and down to her claws, but even still it required a lot of energy. Suddenly, something caused the elk to stir and take off, unsettling the tigress who quickly took off after the wounded deer as fast as possible. It didn't take long before she cut it off from the rest of the herd and eventually brought the elderly doe to her end. Blood stained her mouth from where she'd attacked the creature as she panted heavily, glancing around wondering what had spooked the creatures. That's when she noticed the distinguished smell of a stranger and not of the prey variety causing her to growl angrily. She wasn't a violent cat by any means, but she just about lost her meal and she wasn't about to give it up to just anyone.

"If your going to attack a predator, you're going about it all wrong," replied the tiger as she gazed around looking for her silent watcher clearly unfazed and slightly amused. "Course, what do I know? I'm just an cat."

Akron had been delighted that the snow was gone. It was much harder to find prey in those dreadful winters and he hated relying on Kheed and Namn for anything aside from the information on Clans. Though, they knew well that he was thirsty for information, even if it was just of what was nearby. His black wings craved the flight of his raven comrades, however his massive size did not allow such fluid movement.

With the ice wall gone, Akron had a completely new world to explore, and he immediately traveled as south as he could find, until the ground turned to sand. It was strange, feeling something like the beach beneath his paws without the sense of water nearby. The giant wolf had found he enjoyed the south; until it became day. Temperatures skyrocketed to a hotness he had never experience in his life. He took the day to lounge near the beach as his avian comrades goofed off and played around. As night fell, the burgundy and black wolf made another attempt at gaining information around the lands without exhausting himself.

He had wandered a little ways, following the lines of pointy plants he had found. Getting close to them had caused his head to feel strange earlier, so he advised his comrades against going anywhere near them. Of course, Kheed had decided to spite Akron and peck at the plants. The wolf scooped up the raven after he passed out, carrying him carefully within his jaws until he regained consciousness. Kheed's sister cawed his ears off about his stupidity until the wolf told them both to shut up and survey the area.

They noted potential prey on the horizon, a possibly injured deer-like creature. He had taken a position to possibly hunt it, when his orange orbs spotted another creature, clearly already on the hunt. He immediately halted his advance, for even crouched in long grass he could be seen, and this place was mostly rock and sand. What little night there was kept him hidden enough under his black wings. It appeared as though one of them had sensed something, as the heard began to spook. His ears flattened as he imagined Kheed laughing at him from the sky. The rest of the deer ran passed him as his eyes watched the other predator thoughtfully. Despite her disadvantage, she managed to land the kill. It did not surprise him; any breed he had seen from the Tundra had to be precise, or they did not live. That was the law.

She sensed him as well, which also did not surprise him. She might not have detected him quite yet, but he stood to his full towering height, orange eyes kindling a path to her sapphire ones. "If you're going to attack a predator, you're going about it all wrong, "Course, what do I know? I'm just a cat." Kheed looked at Akron skeptically, but the wolf just shrugged. "A cat who executed a kill despite frightened prey. I would say based on that alone you know something." He rumbled to her in a friendly tone. Though the end of his sentence was taken as a jest by Kheed, who cackled a little. He rode on Akron's left wing, perched easily upon its large form. Namn flew down and landed upon his head, causing the wolf to frown upwards for a moment before continuing. "I was going to attempt the same target as you, however you obviously have everything under control." Despite his size, he was not one to pick fights, especially when she had arrived first and captured it fair and square. Though he could see Kheed eyeing up the carcass. Akron blew a forceful wind at the male raven through his nose, causing the raven to fall flat on his ass on the sandy ground. In reply, the raven flapped sand at the wolf, who was completely unmoved by the gesture.

Twigs cracked and splintered under Ziva's paws as she walked. Why try to be quiet? There was no need, unless she was going to scare the fur off of some poor creature, which she did enjoy. The Asila's bat-like ears rotated forward as an angry voice sounded from the forest in front of her. The zombie slowly walked from the shadows, piupiless Fire hued eyes scanned over the two creatures. "Well, well, well. What do we have here? Feline and canine? In the same place? How shocking!" She moved forward still, gaze switching from the red creture to the white one. "The large male and the cat hardly intimidated her. If they attacked her, she'd never die. All she had to do was protect her neck and chest. The slate grey female stopped a few paces away from the two. Which one should she mess with? Based in the cats earlier outrage, she went with the cat. The canine hybrid, she decided, would be no fun. "I'm amazed that the two of you are actually acting civilized!" Of course, she didn't know if they had had a fight before.
