Rafiri was taking a quick hiatus from his duty to Valaren took explore some of the islands. He didn't think the Boss would mind as long as he made a swift return, which was Rafiri's intent. He had bounced from island to island until he had reached a relatively small one to the east. The fox hybrid had some information from natives, who were very different than the creatures of the Tundra. Thankfully, they could communicate at all, but it was still weird learning about the world again. It was like he was a kit all over again.
The little guy had made his way into the cave, finding that there was much water beneath the islands. That made sense, of course, because there was water everywhere. But, as he reached the depths, there was a strange glow. He determined the source, and was in awe. There were magical seashells that emitted light! Rafiri ran over to them excitedly, bopping them with his paws. Immediately he started searching for a particular color; it would be a great gift for the Boss and his little ones.

Oh, he was a tired, tired little fox hybrid thing. Why Rafiri had decided to make a journey through the Ice Flats was beyond him. He searched through his meager brain database to try to find a logical explanation, but then he remembered he was anything but logical. Oh well! He was stuck with this decision now! He came upon a bit of the South Journey River and followed it for a little while, finding a calm area in the recent snow storm. Managing to find an area that wasn't completely frozen over, he joyfully lapped up some water. It was so much better than eating snow, even if it did make his tongue feel a lot more colder for a little while.
"I wonder if there's any fish in here? Do fish survive winter? They would have to, or we'd have no fish to eat." Another bright idea was born in his head as he attempted to walk onto a more frozen part of the river. He had learned from earlier foolish exploits in his small life that it was safer to spread himself out on the ice rather than tiptoe on his tiny paws. Usually his weight was not enough to crack the ice anyway, but this time it was. The ice was still a little thin due to there being a running river beneath it, and Rafiri quickly scurried and slid his way back to dry land. Even with his extra fluff, it didn't take too much water to make him freezing.
Disappointed, he hopped back into the snow. He supposed the fish would be back in spring. He looked very depressed from his failed venture, and the little hybrid rolled around in the snow a bit. The snow always made him feel better, unless it was very windy in which case it blew into his face. Shaking off the snow, Rafiri stood up and tilted his head in the universal motion of thought. What should he do now? If the storm came his way he would be very unhappy, but at the same time he didn't want to move. He curled himself into a cute little ball, deciding to think on it for a minute.

Winter was everywhere! The little hybrid of rodent and canine zipped about, frolicking without worry. Sure, his intent was to come here and join the clan that owned this forest, but what was life if not enjoyed with pit stops? Lots, and lots of pit stops. Stop here, sniff this tree, zip a bit, stop here, hm, bigger tree! This particular tree's bark was wider in some way than the previous one, and Raf wondered if it was a different kind of tree or if it simply had better nutrition.
No time to ponder that! It was snowing! How lovely snow was for the little fellow, as his thick, fluffy winter coat kept him warm and comfortable, a blessing from his fox blood. He ran full speed, jumped, and rolled in the air into the thick of a pile, popping his head out the top, chuckling all the while. He shook the excess snow off of his little head and looked around with his icy blue eyes. His maw hung open for a moment, because he didn't quite realize how big the trees were compared to him. He stayed still for a miraculous moment, taking it in.
And then off he went again, towards the heart of the forest. "Boss! Let's chitchat!" Small talk was Raf's honest intention, however he was likely to become very unfocused. He wanted to get to know this area better, the King better, everything! He liked it here, and would contribute to any cause that he could, albeit his tiny size. Raf didn't even know if he was accepted yet or not, but even if he were not of use to the hunting force, surely he'd be great for entertainment.

Raf entered the Valaren boldly, looking for acceptance. Energy abound, he sped through, looking for the king until he found him. Posture stern, the little one spoke. "Hi, boss! I'm Rafiri, boss! I'm looking to serve you, however I may!" He exclaimed, tail swishing eagerly in the air. No rank was preferred, and judgement was left up to the master.

Rafiri (Goes by Raf or Iri)Age:

18 lbsCoat Color:
White in the winter, a mix of blacks, reds, and creams in the spring/summer.Eye Color:
Bright icy blue.Markings: Original Link to Lineart Before ColorNatural Mutations:
Ears are slightly elongated due to the hare, has a medium tail that's fox-like, dental anatomy allows him to be omnivorous.Other Mutations:
Fluff! (1pt), Retractable claws (2 pts)Moral Alignment:
Rafiri is extremely energetic and hyper. It's almost impossible to get him to stop moving unless one pins his tail to the ground or something of the sort. He's fairly carefree and quick to decide if he likes or dislikes someone. It's also difficult to keep his full attention for more than a minute, as trivial other things tend to distract him. He's never truly been in a life or death situation, as in most cases he's already zipped away from the threat.History:
To understand Rafiri, one would need to know how he was brought about. Long story short, his mother and father attended a large gathering of smaller animals to mate and make merry. His mother was quite experienced at attending these gatherings and releasing abominations upon the Tundra after the event was over, and then going back for more. She had the sense to raise whatever came out until it was old enough to understand survival, but that was all. Rafiri became stable and was able to forage and hunt as needed, but had no social guidance. Most other friendly creatures he met were turned off by his outgoing, energetic nature, and thus he's moved towards the clans of the Tundra, seeking an actual family and maybe a little attention. Family:
Mother (Hare x Lemming) x Father (Fox x Wolverine)
