Akron licked his lips as he watched over the rest of the gully. He had managed a small morsel before chasing off all other prey. It was just enough to make his stomach shut up about being hungry. This winter was particularly challenging, and he quietly wondered if someone had done something to piss off nature. The wind was being quiet at the moment, allowing the snow to float down daintily and make piles wherever it chose. "Good job, Ak. You managed something for yourself but nothing for us!" The first raven, Kheed, hissed at him. The only attention paid to that sentence was a minor flick of Akron's right ear. The raven bounced on his wing, causing him to shake it and force the bird off. The raven had a fit in the snow, kicking it around at the large hybrid's feet.
"Give him a break, Kheed. You know full well he can't always catch everything." The second raven on his other wing, Namn, cooed at the male raven. "My stomach is also bigger than yours. Would you like to hop in and take a tour?" Akron bent down and opened his mouth at Kheed, who flapped his wings in a stern fashion which meant no. Akron smiled and raised his cranium back up to full height, reaching farther than some saplings. His size gave him a great disadvantage while he hunted, and few areas were as red as he. Often he hunted at night and kept his wings tucked, cloaking him in darkness. Since he had just gotten done with that task, they were positioned in a way that was meant more for keeping warm. He wondered quietly if anyone was out on this calm snowy night. Few approached him because of his size, but he really wasn't an aggressive fellow.
"I think we'll stay here until sunrise. The weather seems to be cooperative enough." He pushed some of the snow out of the way to build himself a little ditch and to move the top layer that would just melt beneath him in minutes. "That's great. I'm going to go find some food. You losers can stay here. And with that he was off, a black dot in the mix of white ones. Akron couldn't help but smirk at him as he flew off. "So grumpy when he's hungry." Akron commented quietly, lying in the disturbed snow. "He'll be back when he gets cold. You're nothing if not warm." She smiled as she hopped off and found a spot to snuggle the large beast. Akron nodded, watching the gully for any movement.

Akron made the arduous journey upon this peak for one sole reason: to meet with the entity that had claimed it. The claimer of this area was said to be a Prophet, and though he held little interest into the truth of it all, Akron was going to explore what kind of psyche, if any, it took to take such a title for oneself. The only title he'd ever earned was Giant because of his size, but being bigger than a raven wasn't too hard in this world.
On the note of ravens, Akron had sent Kheed and Namn away for this part of his trek. Their wings would likely freeze if they even tried to get up his high, and he wasn't going to share his warmth with them and risk freezing himself. His wings were pressed very close to him, making him look much blacker than he was. The cold made them pang, but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to. They weren't necessary for him to remember the information he'd glean from today's visit.
As he climbed, his claws came out to give him extra retention on the potentially slippery rocks. An odd building came into view, but no sign of a creature living here. Likely it was taking shelter from the snow in this harsh winter, and he couldn't blame it. Perhaps the creature could use a friend, a service that Akron gave to many. It was when individuals attempted more than that when he became more strategic and cunning.
"I hear tales of a Prophet upon these peaks. Does it dare to show its presence to me to prove it exists?" An odd thing to say, he knew. But if a Prophet would be living up to his title, he would play into it as well. Even if it was some lonesome soul who had made this his life's last gambit, there was no harm in tagging along in the exploit. The warmth of his orange eyes touched everywhere he could see, searching for proof of the Prophet.

Akron wants nothing to do with joining a clan or pack. He's very much for himself and living by himself, supporting himself (aside from his two friends of course). He relies very little on anyone for anything, including his friends. It's his belief that being in a pack only brings about war and hate between other clans, and thus he is unwilling to be one of the many problems in the eqation. He's very prone, however, to helping others in any way he can. He also loves knowing everything about anything. He's not a gossiper; he likes facts. He often keeps track of things from high up, watching as the clan borders change. There's been times, when hearing of hard times for others, he would leave carcasses at the edges of packlands for them to find and hopefully use. He's yet to have fallen in love, and as such had little idea of what to do in situations related to it. In short he's a loner, but not afraid to help others if he believes they deserve it.History:
Akron was the child of two very massive creatures. However, seeing that he had wings, his parents were unsure of how to raise him since they did not have them themselves. They called upon a local unkindness of ravens for advice. The ravens, instead, offered to raise the strange child as one of their own. Wanting the best for their child and not given much of a choice, they agreed. So started the unusual childhood of the carnivorous hybrid.
As he grew in strength, his first task was to learn how to fly. He fell many, many times out of the trees, but before winter came he was able to at least glide to safety. When spring came and he thawed out his wings, training continued. Eventually, he did well enough where he could float from tree to free without much issue. Practice continued daily, as he would have to keep his wings strong for the weight he would put on.
Akron felt little difference between himself and the ravens, but he knew well that he was not the same. He made the decision early in life that after he was grown and strong, he would leave and make life his own. He observed how they would bicker amongst themselves about petty things, and he often disappeared or took naps when this occured. Some of his friends, Kheed and Namn follow him everywhere he goes. Even if he told them to leave, they likely would not have listened to him and hung around anyway. Often times they would perch upon his wings once they were big enough to be able to support them. He carefully trained them to bring him information, as they were much more swift and much less noticable than he.
His two raven friends soon became a part of him. They would tell him of potential targets and he would scout them out and finish them off if he could not find anything on his own or it was just an unlucky day. In a way, they were his clan, but there was never a problem between them. Such harmony would never exist in any other clan. He embraced it as his, and began wandering about the Tundra, mapping everything in his head.Family:
